About

I am a filmmaker and visual artist creating film, interdisciplinary videos, and installation works that transform emotional perspectives for both me and my audience.

I believe in cinema as a medium to express humanity in a way that transcends language, experience or location. It allows us a peek into the private lives of others, while seeing ourselves at the same time, creating new worlds that become palates to access the difficult truths surrounding us every day. The magic of cinema is that it allows us to poetically reveal our stories and represent ourselves in the world as we truly are. The Digital Age has overamplified our use of motion media, , and as artists it is our job to regain the aforementioned magic of our medium, evolving to a world numbed by image.

My most recent work aims to take the tools that have built contemporary cinema, such as light, sound, and recycled media footage, and moves them beyond the screen into installation environments, transitioning our ideas of cinema being images and at times, empty calories of comfort, into the immersive experience it was before the hyper-digital landscape of today.
